Quite a few new projects going on in the studio that I'm real excited about..
-- My brother Bradley and I have begun work on our first full-length collaboration ever. We're starting to track about 12 new songs and I'm lovin' what we have so far. Drum tracks are just getting started and then we'll start throwing all the other business on top.
-- Bryan and I are also getting rolling on a new noise/punk/rock project, right around ten songs to be worked out at this point. We're excited to have Darren Mahuron working the bass for us. I'm hoping for the majority of the tracking to come from live, in the studio, power-trio performances run to tape on the Tascam 388 with minimal over dubbing. We'll see how it breaks down.
-- For the past few weeks Fort Collins, singer-songwriter Chris Nucci has been putting down some tracks for a new project of his. He came to the studio because of the reel-to-reel and we're hoping to keep the majority of the project analog.
-- I've also teamed up with a up and coming film company Freestone Films, to provide sound material for their outdoor (mostly fishing) films.
I'll post up tracks as they get polished up.
-- I recently finished a one-year personal challenge to write and record one new track every week. I'm very happy with the results and have already started going back over my favorites in hopes of completing two new, full-length projects over the upcoming year. Please check it out
