About Your Sister’s Music

We're a small label with even a smaller recording studio known to about five people as Your Sister’s Studio. The label and recording machine first began with my first self-produced, solo project Umlaut in 1996. Since then I have released ten projects by the artists Seven Eight, Professor Zero One Zero and myself. Nearly all of these projects are available absolutely free at the Netlabel site hosted by archive.org.

The studio (described on it’s own page) is always available to artists looking for a super cheap way to capture their sounds. In the past I’ve hosted acts such as The Bad Directions, Dustamatic, Archive, The New Belgium Players, Matter Journal and Andrew Sturm.

Please check out all of the releases over at archive.org. The Creative Commons copyright protection is pretty loose. The music is all free and available for download, copying, performance and listening. I’d like nothing more than to have any of the tracks used for film, video, web, multi-media/performance art, etc. Before any commercial use of the music, I would like to be contacted and we'll work out the details. Please enjoy the label/site/music and drop me some feedback at brandonATyoursistersmusicDOTcom

Thank you, Brandon Weaver
